Simmons 7B Celebrates Students of the Month September 2019Simmons 7B Celebrates Students of the Month September 2019

  • Sofia Ramos. Sofia is conscientious. She checks in, she helps others, she even wrote Ms. Andres a personal note that let me know that she plans to do better on MAP! We love working with her and our class is more on task because of her! Congratulations to Sofia!
  • Josue is very motivated. He is driven to succeed and works ahead of his peers. Josue is also very personable. Josue, we know you will go far!
  • David Akeju: David is an honorable scholar. David demonstrates respect and a moral compass daily. David is a student any teacher would welcome!
  • Kimmy Vazquez. Kimmy is amazing. A sweet girl with high ambition. Responsible and a hard worker. Always prepared and independently works on classwork. Kimmy is a great role model for her classmates.

This month Simmons Middle School’s Team 7B chose five students to be recognized and celebrated for great character; these students are motivated, conscientious, ambitious, honorable and positive.

 

Teachers nominate students on our team that demonstrate such characteristics, and at the end of the month, teachers choose five students that stand out the most.  

Students selected for Students of the Month are announced over the P.A. each day along with why they were chosen.  At the end of the week students are celebrated at a luncheon with their teachers, counselor and our administration.

 

Here are the students being celebrated for the month of September 2019.
