The Simmons Robotics and Engineering Club participated in a regional robotics showcase on Saturday, April 14, at O’Neill Middle School in Downers Grove. There were about 18 teams from area schools competing in a robotics competition. The students programmed their Lego Mindstorms robots to perform specific tasks and participated in team building activities during the showcase. The students have been working hard throughout the year on their programming skills and did a nice job.
