Panther Students of the Month, February 2024Estudiantes Panther del Mes, febrero de 2024

Simmons’ School Leadership Team is revitalizing an old tradition of sharing Panther Pride Schoolwide at Simmons Middle School, by honoring Students of the Month across all grade levels and courses of study. Students are recognized for showing Panther Pride, with the acronym: PRIDE: Participation, Respectful and Responsible, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence. Faculty teams throughout the school chose students that demonstrated these character traits and behaviors every day, all day! We are so proud of them!

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, Simmons staff announced the names of our January and February 2024, Students of the Month. Students were celebrated with a special Panther Pride Certificate, T-shirt and a snack.  All of the students took pictures with Simmons Middle School Principals, Mrs. Patterson and Ms. Carrillo and Assistant Principal, Mr. Los, in front of our Panther Pride display commemorating this honor!  Students’ pictures will be posted in the display case, and featured on our school screens located in the front office, hallways and cafeteria as well as on the Simmons Middle School Website. 

El Equipo de Liderazgo de Simmons revitaliza la vieja tradición de compartir el Orgullo Panther por toda la escuela en Simmons Middle School al homenajear a los Estudiantes del Mes de todos los grados y de todos los programas de estudio. Se les da un reconocimiento a los estudiantes por demostrar Orgullo Panther con las siglas PRIDE (Orgullo): Participación, Respeto y Responsabilidad, Integridad, Determinación y Excelencia. Los equipos docentes de toda la escuela eligieron a estudiantes que han demostrado estos rasgos de carácter y comportamiento ¡todos los días, todo el día! ¡Estamos tan orgullosos de ellos!

El jueves, 29 de febrero de 2024, el personal de Simmons anunció los nombres de nuestros Estudiantes del Mes de febrero de 2024. Se les hizo un reconocimiento con un Certificado especial de Panther Pride, una camiseta y una colación. Todos los estudiantes se tomaron fotos con las directoras de Simmons Middle School—La Sra. Patterson y la Sra. Carrillo—al igual que con el subdirector—el Sr. Los, frente a nuestra vitrina de Panther Pride ¡conmemorando este honor! Las fotografías de los estudiantes se van a colocar en la vitrina y aparecerán en las pantallas de nuestra escuela, localizadas en la oficina principal, los corredores y la cafetería, al igual que en el sitio web de Simons Middle School.
