Students of the Month, April 2023

Simmons’ School Leadership Team is revitalizing an old tradition of sharing Panther Pride Schoolwide at Simmons Middle School, by honoring Students of the Month across all grade levels. Students are recognized for showing Panther Pride, with the acronym: PRIDE: Participation, Respectful and Responsible, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence.  Faculty teams throughout the school chose students that demonstrated these character traits and behaviors every day, all day! We are so proud of them!

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, staff announced the names of our April 2023, Students of the Month. Students were celebrated with a special Panther Pride Certificate, T-shirt and a snack.  All of the students took pictures with Simmons Middle School Principals: Ms. Patterson and Ms. Carrillo, in front of our new Panther Pride display commemorating this honor!  Students’ pictures will be posted in the display case, and featured on our school screens located in the front office, hallways and cafeteria as well as on the Simmons Middle School Website.
