Fun at Simmons Family Reading NightFun at Simmons Family Reading Night

On November 15, Simmons Middle School hosted their annual Family Reading Night. Students and families were invited to attend an evening specifically designed to develop a student’s love of reading. The Simmons staff was stationed throughout the school with fun activities, food, read aloud sessions featuring district staff, a book fair, and raffles.

Our theme was “Private Eyes … Looking for Clues”, and students needed to gather information at many stations in order to trade their worksheet in for a special t-shirt. What fun for our Panthers! Thank you to all our families who came out, and to Dr. Karen Morris and the Simmons staff for creating a memorable learning event for our students!
