Each month 7th Grade Team B celebrates outstanding students who have been recognized as Students of the Month.

These students demonstrate kindness, responsibility, thoughtfulness and are also helpful to their peers and teachers. In other words, they have integrity and exhibit good character, daily.

Teachers nominate students, but the decision to award a student must be unanimous from all their teachers. The selection of students is announced over the P.A. and at the end of the week students are celebrated at lunch with their teachers. Students are also given a certificate as a keepsake for this honor.

This month Simmons Middle School’s Team 7B chose five students: 

Kimberly Benitez-Barraza, Aaron Diaz, Francisco Garcia Olivares, Yessenia Lechuga, and Alexis Vazquez
