7th Grade Students of the Month for April7th Grade Students of the Month for April

Each month Simmons Middle School’s Team 7B chooses five students to be recognized and celebrated for great character; being compassionate and encouraging, hardworking and motivated, determined and ambitious, and caring and generous.

Teachers nominate students on our team that demonstrate such characteristics, and at the end of the month, teachers choose five students that stand out the most.

Students selected for Students of the Month are announced over the P.A. each day along with why they were chosen. At the end of the week students are celebrated at a luncheon with their teachers, counselor and our administration.

Here are the students being celebrated for the month of April.

  • Alexandra Sandoval, Alexandra is a kind, confident, and committed person. She has a strong work ethic and can always be counted on to get her work done. She’s always willing to help others in class, and is driven to success. She is extremely respectful in class and to others and is certainly a leader. Although she may not say much, she carries with her strength, confidence, and determination.
  • Abigail Almaraz, Aby is a student that shines wherever she goes. She is a bright, hardworking, caring and helpful student with a great sense of humor. Her integrity keeps her on track with her school work, but her positive personality makes her a joy to be around. Aby is willing to help others both in and out of the classroom.
  • Brayan Panfilo Maldonado ,Brayan is, above all, a kind and generous individual. In class, Brayan is an enthusiastic student who is always willing to share and work with others. His positive attitude and generosity will take him far in life!
  • Richard Galicia, Richard has shown much growth throughout the school year. He has chosen to take time out of his day to work after school and at lunch on his studies and raise his grades and reading level. He shows kindness and is sincere with his classmates. Richard is a respectful young man and very deserving of this award.
